By completing this qualification, learners will meet industry requirements to support exercise and physical activity for healthy and non-complicated antenatal and postnatal clients, as set out within the CIMSPA professional standard.
The purpose of this qualification is to enable learners to develop the knowledge to support exercise, physical activity, health and wellbeing during the perinatal period (pregnancy and postnatal). This includes when and how to signpost to other services, where necessary.
